Responsible for the project Management and oversight activities in support of the interim IT disaster recovery initiative.
Provides support in managing the project schedule, financials, issues / risks, status reporting, scheduling of meetings, action item follow up as well as other tasks as requested.
- Knowledge of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery practices.
- PMP certification required. Strong working knowledge of PMBOK methodology and project management fundamentals.
- Excellent MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) and MS Project Server 2007 skills.
- Strong project coordination skills. Solid communication skills (written and oral).
- Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multi task. Attention to detail as well as follow up as required to ensure the timely identification of risks / issues and completion of associated tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with a diverse organization.
- Ability to act in a liaison role with people from all areas of company
- 5+ years experience as a senior project manager (management of schedules, budgets, status reports, risks / issues, cross team coordination and follow up, etc.).
Experience in working within the structured guidelines (i.e., processes, procedures) of a Project Management Office
